Match report At last the rained halted and the sun came out and the 15b team won a game !!!
Hutton lost the toss but got what they wanted and batted first.
Aaron Read and Mitch Cullen opened and reached an excellent 72 off the first 10 over with some excellent aggresive batting from Mitch. They continued to bat well but their running between wickets was not brilliant and Aaron was determined to keep Mitch on strike so he could get his 50 and the run rate slowed down near the end. A big 6 in the last over from Aaron and 39 extras pushed the score to respectable 127-0, Mitch 50 not out and Aaron 38 not out.
Ellis Critchell and Chris Patterson opened the bowling and Ellis bowled tightly taking an early key wicket and off his 4 overs only conceded 15 runs.
With some superb bowling from Hrusa and Ben Scammell and wickets falling, South Weald struggled to get a partnership going and were all out for 107.
Hrusa took 4 wickets and Ben Scammell 2. There was also some excellent fielding from James Scammell who took 3 brilliant catches.
Man of the match was shared between Mith Jon and James.
