Match report Having come so close to winning their first ever outdoor league match the previous week, the ladies were eagerly anticipating the home game against OCs - unbeaten in the league so far. Winning the toss and fielding first, the ladies once again took early wickets but with just 9 players on the field and OCs batting freely, it was hard going and by the end of the innings, OCs had posted a whopping 139. A brave attempt to chase down the runs followed but it was too big a job and in the end the ladies lost by nearly 70 runs. Bravery award goes to Annie Stephenson of Hutton who injured her dominant right hand so badly in the first innings that she was unable to bat and had to go to A&E - but not before she had taken a stunning catch with her left hand first - what a hero!
