With our Mens and Womens 1st XIs at the top the Essex Mens and Womens Premier league don't miss out on two chances to watch them taking on the biggest cricket club in the country in the form of MCC this week. On Wednesday the Women's 1st XI will be playing a 30 over match from 2PM and then it will be the turn of the men on Sunday from 11:30 onward in a time game. The bar will be open for both matches and refreshments provided so do come on down and enjoy what will be 2 great days of cricket at the Polo Field. We look forward to seeing you!
In line with the ECB and Essex Cricket in the Community's guidance the club is taking measures to provide as much shade as possible during cricket training and matches at the club this weekend. We are very fortunate that our grounds are blessed with quite a lot of natural shade to provide relief from the heat so please do feel free to make use of this when attending the club this weekend. In addition water will be to available to drink and refill water bottles. We are asking all players of matches and attendees of training sessions this weekend bring a hat, water and sunscreen with them. This will help to mitigate against the worst effects of the heat and make players feel more comfortable.
