Welcome to the 2026 cricket season at Hutton Cricket Club where we are very much looking forward to a full season of cricket and socialising.

This season, we are delighted that Beresfords Estate Agent and its associated finance arm, Flagstone are continuing in their sponsorship of the club once again in 2026.

We will be holding a signing-on evening ahead of the new season, providing an opportunity to complete registration, and catch up with fellow members.

Dates for your diary:

• Friday 13th March – Signing-on evening: get help completing your registration, make membership payments, and ask any questions.

• Friday 1st May– Junior Training Begins.

We will also be holding a Working Party on Saturday 4th April (Easter Saturday). It is vital that we have a strong turnout to help prepare the ground and clubhouse for the 2026 season.

Further details will follow, and reminders will be sent closer to the time. In the meantime, please save these dates.

Catherine Hamilton (Women’s & Girls’ Lead) and Cam Tredgett (Junior Boys’ Lead) will also be sending out their 2026 brochure soon.

We do not wish that anyone be denied cricket for financial reasons. In such cases please contact a member of the committee on a confidential basis to make suitable arrangements. 

The coaching season will run from week commencing 1st May until week the ending 29th August

Our number of qualified coaches is ever increasing, enabling us to continue providing strong coaching sessions and we are delighted that Cam Tredgett  will continue to lead the Boys, while Georgie Manek will lead the junior girls.

We are inviting all members receiving this letter to join Hutton CC club coaching this year, including those who did Dynamos last year.

We will continue to offer All Stars and Dynamos for those new to cricket or who would prefer this option. All sessions can be signed up directly with the ECB from 12th March when the booking system opens.

Please note – parents / carers are expected to remain on site for the duration of Friday coaching sessions

As usual we will enter as many competitions and leagues as possible in order to provide competitive cricket for our youth section. However, whilst subscriptions cover club membership, facilities and coaching nights – the organisation and running of matches rely on parent / carer volunteers to step forward.

Parents are expected to support the club on match days and at training sessions wherever possible. This involvement is essential in helping to keep membership costs down. Please review the relevant sections on the form for ways you can assist and indicate how you will help. 

Registration forms must be completed even if you are an existing member of the club.
