The 1st XI beat Orsett & thurrock by 6 wickets in the final match before the start of the season.
The victory was set up through the bowling of captain Viraj Gandhi (8-0-47-4) and Connor Whetsone (6.4-1-26-6) with both bowlers on hat-tricks throughout the innings.
Solid partnerships throughout Hutton's reply saw the 1st XI cruise to a six wicket win.
Tomorrow sees the Womens 1st XI take on Wanstead & Snaresbrook from 1:00 PM and then on Monday host Copdock & Old Ipswichian CC in the ECB Women's Club T20 competition from 1:00 PM.
