Last weekend was chock-a-block with cricket being played on every day of the bank holiday weekend and five wins from six senior matches all told.
On Friday night the womens T20 action saw a 26 run win at home to Great Waltham. While on Saturday we saw four wins out of five, with the 1st XI winning against Hornchurch (highlights of which can be watched here) by 2 wickets, the 2nd XI winning by 48 runs thanks to a century by Joseph Parry, the 3rd XI recorded their first win of the season chasing 260 against Wanstead & Snaresbrook powered by Saidul Islam's 110 from 83 balls. The 4th XI came up short against Hatfield Peverel and the 5th XI won by 82 runs at Mountnessing.
Come Sunday and Monday the our youth teams got into the action with wins for the U15 Eagles, U14 and U12 Hawks over the two days.

This weekend sees the our youth training sessions for boys (from 6:30 PM) and girls (from 5:00 PM) on Friday evening and both Womens T20 sides in action with the Womens 1st XI T20 side at home to Benfleet at Mountnessing and the 2nd XI away to Hadleigh & Thundersley.
Then on Saturday all 5 senior sides are in action across the Essex League and Mid-Essex Leagues respectively. Our home matches are the 2nd XI (vs Brentwood), 4th XI (vs Navestock) and 5th XI (vs Brentwood at Mountnessing). The 1st XI are away at Chelmsford and the 3rd XI are at South Woodford.
On Sunday in the morning the U12 Hawks are playing Hadleigh & Thundersley at home from 9:00 AM, the U15 Hawks are away at Gidea Park & Romford from 09:30 and the U15 Girls are home to Hornchurch Athletic at 1:00 PM.
