Match report A scorcher of a morning which burnt the early moisture off of a flat track at Chelmsford's Chelmer Park ground.After losing the toss Chelmsford chose to bat first and stuck to the task well. Tight bowling from Hutton's opening bowlers - Matthew Scammell and Noah set up Max and Ruben to pick up a handful of wickets in their four overs.(Max 4 wickets for a tidy 5 runs only).Again the fielding was spot on with Charlie and Fred catching two high and fast hits and Ruben and George getting two runouts ably assisted by James who kept wicket and survived the humid conditions admirably until Ruben helped out keeping the last four overs.Hutton then bowled a sequence of 8 very tight overs as Sam who picked up a well deserved wicket was followed up by George/Fred and Charlie.Fred bowling two great maidens. Matt Bell bowled extremely well having to be patient until the last set of batsmen and was rewarded with 2 great wickets (one caught by Noah) and ended up with figures of 2 overs 2 wickets for only 2 runs!! Another great fielding performance from everyone. Hutton responded positively in their innings and did not lose concentration amassing a great total of 326 for 2 !! Everyone contributed to the total in a solid batting performance - highlights were Matthew Scammell 23 not out / James Scammell 17 not out / Ruben 12 not out - Well done again thanks Joe and Chiara
