Match report On a beautiful warm sunny morning the u15b team batted first.
With a number of u15b players missing and last minute selection of some A players the batting order was re-arranged to ensure the B players got a bat.
With Herongate bowling their opening bowlers for the first 8 overs Hutton struggled to 35 for 5 off 9 overs and another defeat looked on the cards. Luis Cotton and James Bolton had other ideas and with a slightly weakened second line bowling attack, put on a u15b club record for the 6th wicket partnership of 147 runs off 10.4 overs !!! Luis scored 63 not out off 48 ball and James 76 not out off 33 balls and Hutton finished 182 for 5 off 20 overs.
Luis though missed out on £20 by failing to hit his Dads car !!!!!
Herongates reply immediately faltered with Chris Bolton taking the key wicket.
With Hutton playing with 10 men, Herongate used the gaps well and ended up with a respectable 108 for 6 off 20......Ben Scammell picking up a key wicket and Tom Henton got a couple, including the key wicket of their opening batsman who top scored with 44.
Hutton won by a record 76 runs.

Thanks to James Southgate who filled in at the last minute and kept wicket and volunteered to bat at no.10.
