Match report The U15B's last game was met with alot of enthusiasm by the team with the news that Gary Read was the manager of the day, attempting to run the team his way he tried to get a warm up under way.....u15b team don't do warm up's was the response !!!!

With a record crowd in attendance Hutton batted first with a solid opening stand of 28 between Aaron Read and Alex Tredgett. Read was bowled for 11 and with Keval Suchak falling cheaply the u15b collapse looked on again...Luis Cotton and Alex though steadied the ship with Luis hitting a lovely 6 before falling for 23....Alex continued his solid cook style innings with Chris Skingley and put on 26. Both fell near to the end of the innings but had pushed the total to a reasonable 118, with Alex 39 and Chris 16.

With crowd numbers increasing..Greg Spires and Will Morton opened the bowling and Brentwood look solid with 23 runs off the first 5 overs, before Keval, Greg and Aaron took 3 quick wickets and Brentwood 24-3. Tom Henton then took 3 wickets off first 2 overs and with KP Edwards picking up a wicket and Greg bowling a wicket maiden Brentwood finished on 73 for 8.

Gary Read was delighted with his teams performance and is waiting for the call to be the A team manager next year !!!!

Thanks to Mitch Fenn for umpiring and the u13 players who filled in at the last minute and played exceptionally well

With this the last game of the season the team played 8 won 4 lost 4. Many thanks to all the boys who played through out the year..the aim of the season was for the boys to enjoy their cricket and I feel this was achieved in all games.
Special thanks to Luis Cotton who was an excellent captain throughout and always ensured everyone would get a bat or a bowl (apart from James Southgate at Herongate)

AVERAGES.
Top of the batting averages was Alex Tredgett 39.5..and highest run scorer was Aaron Read 169 (not sure how the abandoned game against Brentwood got on the website !!!)
Top of the bowling averages was Chris Bolton 5.5 and highest wicket taker Tom Henton 10 wickets.

Final special thanks to Deb for her excellent scoring...with Luis captaining the side so well and Deb scoring there was nothing for me to do...so thanks to them both.
