Match report Fantastic second match for Hutton Ladies. While GT Waltham reversed their batting order and were kind with their bowling, Hutton ladies were none the less fabulous! Fielding first, they were soon talking, encouraging and backing up with great energy. Not only did they restrict the visitors to 79, they also took 9 wickets - the result of some great bowling, brave catches and tight fielding. Wickets were shared around and included three run outs! Lady of the match was Annette Scammell for her two wickets, including a wicket maiden, and her 12 runs, retired not out with the bat. Special mentions to Sally Anne Taylor for superb wicket keeping on debut and to Jean Wilmot for her hundred percent strike rate!! Thanks to Elloise, Georgie and Lily who stepped up to complete the team - their early participation in this league is much appreciated. Captain Jo who also had a great game with bat and ball, should be rightly proud. As ever, our thanks go to Nicola Parry for her superb organisation skills and to David for stepping in at the last minute to umpire.
