Match report First win of the indoor season for the Ladies who played an excellent game in a great spirit with contributions from all. Losing the toss and being asked to bat first the ladies got off to a great start with openers Amy and Georgie. When the latter was runout by a direct hit from former Hutton colts player C Foyster, the good work continued, first with Annette (18) and then Grace who smashed a 6 with her first ball. Following Amy's retirement, Annie and Jo saw the team home and then the ladies looked to defend a very respectable 89. Although some of the bowling was a little bit wide, the fielding was excellent and when the bowlers were on target, the opposition found it difficult to score. Never quite up with the run rate, Kelvedon posted a hard fought 63 for the loss of 4 wickets but finished 27 runs short of a winning score. Well played both teams - an excellent game all round.
