Match report Another great performance from the team, demonstrating what a tight squad this really is. Batting first, Max and Luke started positively with 20 off the first two overs before Max was caught in the deep pushing the run rate. Luke continued with the incoming Lydia but was unlucky for a leg side bound delivery to clip his pads and divert onto the stumps. Ed and Lydia then developed a great partnership which saw them both retire in their 30's. The final pairing of Amy and Grace frustrated the bowlers with their placement of shots and pushed the team score to a very decent 125-2. In the 2nd innings, probing bowling from the openers ensured the run rate was below that required. Then Benji and Charlotte kept up the pressure and the wickets started to fall. Aman took two amazing catches at close range, one of which will arguably be the catch of the season while Luke stopped a full blooded shot by trapping the ball in the bottom of his trousers. Charlotte then popped in with a fantastic 17-4 from her 4 overs, to record her best bowling figures to date.
