Lady Taverners T20 U13 Cup


Great start to the 2014 season for Hutton Girls! In the first round of Lady Taverners T20 u13 Cup Competition they beat Colchester & East Essex by 7 wickets!

Having won the toss and elected to field, Hutton were quickly into their stride with captain Amy Hills taking 4 for 5 in her first two overs with three clean bowls and a catch calmly taken by Millie Clarke. She was ably supported by Hutton debutante Ellen Hoad before Millie and Grace Pool stepped up, the latter also taking three wickets in her first two overs.

Miserly bowling, energetic fielding and excellent wicket keeping kept the Colchester score to 25 runs which were picked off by Hutton inside four overs due to steady batting by openers Anna Hrusa and Millie Clarke.

Well done girls!

Hutton will face the winner of Harold Wood / Wanstead in the next round.
