Scorecard

Hutton Cricket Club U12 Eagles v Chelmsford Willows on Sun 16 Jul 2017 at 1pm
Hutton Cricket Club Lost by 95 runs

Match report Hutton hosted Chelmsford Willows in their last Peter Coe fixture for this season, hoping to get a win to finish on a high. After sweeping the tired cyclists off the pitch, Hutton won the toss and elected to bowl first. Hutton bowled and fielded well as a team, but Willows scored fast and with a couple of big scores from Beth (52) and Darcey (44) raced to a total of 181 from their 25 overs. Hutton managed to bat until the 23rd over, but never really showed the firepower of Willows and ended up short of the total.
Congratulations to everyone involved for a great game, played in good spirit, and of course to Willows for a strong win. Many thanks as always to our Manek scorer and all the parents who helped out on the day.
