Match report Winning the toss and fielding first, Hutton took an early wicket with just 7 runs on the board. The hosts then recovered well and a good partnership of 48 followed until K Murphy was bowled by Georgie Spotswood for a well fought 18. Playing in just her second hardball game, Nina Kennon then stepped up and took the first of her three wickets with some very fine bowling. Also inexperienced, Woodford Wells did well to bat almost all their overs but the last wicket fell to Keelah Taylor in the 19th over and the innings was done with 89 on the board. Maddison and Boo then came out to open the batting innings but unfortunately, both fell in the first two overs to a couple of straight balls that kept very low. Amy and Georgie then took over with a partnership of 43, dealing mostly in boundaries until the latter was bowled on 14. Some fine batting from Amy O scoring at a run a ball saw her 30 not out at the end and Hutton wining the game with almost half the overs to spare. A great team win by the girls with contributions from everyone. Well played.
