Match report This was the day and the match where history was made at Hutton CC - Grace Poole became the first female in the history of the club to reach a century!
Absolutely fantastic knock by Grace who hit 10 4s and a six in her unbeaten innings of 103 in a partnership with Georgie Manek of 167 who rotated the strike and supported Grace at the other end.
A brave reply from Willows playing in their first ever Matchplay game but with all of Hutton's bowlers on form and in particular Rosie Hills (4 overs, 4 for 7) and Grace Dignum (3 overs, 2 for 7) the task proved too much. Taking the game to the 27th over was a good effort from Willows but the older and more experienced Hutton side were never really threatened and were worthy winners in the end.
Well played both teams and many congratulations to Grace - history maker!
