Match report On a cold Tuesday night, our team of 9 travelled up the A12 in rush hour to meet KFCC’s team of 8 for an 11 a side T20. The opposition batted first and unsurprisingly opened with the very hard hitting Emma Honey. Sisters Grace and Georgie opened the bowling and kept her reasonably quiet for the first few overs and she hit an uncharacteristically slowish 20 off 28 balls until she was eventually bowled by Elisa F with the first ball of her spell. All our bowlers bowled very well and the wickets tumbled but special mention to Keelah Taylor who bowled an outstanding spell of 4 overs, 3 maidens, 3 wickets for 1 run! Having only 8 batters didn’t help the hosts and they finished on 35 all out. This proved to be a gettable total and although we lost three wickets in the process, we managed to score the required 36 runs in less than 8 overs with Amy O and Elisa seeing us home.

Well done to both teams - it felt like a shared victory just managing to get the game on mid week with appalling weather and going the “wrong” way up the A12!
