The 1st XI won a crucial victory against against fifth-placed Fives & Heronians on Saturday, bowling first and blowing the visitors away for a total of 142 thanks to 5-13 from Abidine Sakande and wickets from Alex Harvey (3-26), Tom Debenham (1-31) and Alex Tredgett (1-24).
Hutton cruised to victory on the back of a strong opening partnership of 121 by Tom Murray (78*) and Matt Doran (44). The winning runs were hit by Cam Tredgett and Hutton chased their total with 23 overs to spare. Hutton take 20 points from the match and, with 3 games of the league season remaining are now on 171 points in 6th place.
Hutton's next opponent are Billericay away on Saturday 23rd August.
